For the past few years, the question "Does coffee help you lose weight?" has been debated by health experts all over the world. In fact, many people argue that there is not enough evidence to show that drinking coffee helps you lose weight in the long run. Many people have also tried to show that coffee can lead to certain cancers and other serious health risks.
One of the most important things you need to know about coffee is that it contains high-phenol content. Phenol is an antioxidant that is found in coffee and in chocolate. It is believed that high-phenol coffee helps you lose weight because it reduces your appetite and it also has a diuretic effect. However, there are still studies that are being conducted and more analysis needs to be done on these effects.
Another thing that you need to know about coffee is that it contains certain flavonoids and antioxidants. Some studies have shown that antioxidants can reduce your risk of certain types of cancer. Other studies have shown that drinking coffee helps reduce your risk of heart diseases and lowers blood pressure.
It is also interesting to note that although coffee contains some phenols that can potentially help your metabolism, most of these phenols are not converted into active ingredients in your body. Only very few of these phenols can be used by your body for energy, so your body would actually waste them if it could. Another thing that is known about arbutin is that it can be converted into active ingredients in your body, but unfortunately it is also very expensive to use in the manufacturing process of coffee.
So now that we know that coffee cleanses your system, we also need to find out whether it will work for us. The only way to really find out if a coffee cleanse will work for us is to do one. I recommend that you pick up a cup of high-phenol coffee, which can be found in a number of health food stores or on line. Put it in your fridge and see how you respond. If you are sluggish or fatigued, take a cup and wait for a bit. If your body tells you that you are using too much, take another cup, but only until your symptoms go away.
If you do feel that your symptoms are better after taking a cup of coffee, then you will probably feel better after taking a cup of Greek yogurt. All of the ingredients for this amazing combination are contained in just one cup of Greek yogurt. Mix it together with some high-phenol coffee and see what happens. You might be surprised.
For those of you that would like to skip the cup of Greek yogurt and the high-phenol coffee altogether, there is an easy substitute to try. That substitute is 1 tablespoon of psyllium husk mixed with eight ounces of water. Drink this mixture right after you finish your coffee. Your body will likely be a lot more relaxed after drinking a cup of coffee and a psyllium husk. You won't lose any weight, but it will feel a lot nicer after you drink a cup of water instead.
It seems that when we are hungry, we often have trouble staying full. This is especially true in the morning, where it can be hard to stop at our usual calorie intake. Drinking coffee to lose weight can be a big help, but it is not the only thing that we need to do. We also need to eat right and be sure to get exercise on a regular basis.
